We look at the principles of Balance & Symmetry. We discover radial symmetry through mandala art, we visit Tom, a young wood turner in Waterford.

Episode 2

In studio this week we learn all about the ancient form of visual storytelling – shadow puppetry. We travel to Co. Waterford to meet Lily, a young felt maker.

This is Art Club! joins world famous sculptor Vivienne Roche on a trip to the Elephant habitat at Dublin Zoo. Ross plays around with proportion in portraits and visits Dublin Port.

Rhythm

Artist Claire Breen joins us in studio and guides us through mapping the rhythm of our bodies to create large-scale art. We meet a Dublin School who've turned chairs into art.

Space & Composition

We learn all about the tips to perfect your life drawing skills from artist Blaise Smith RHA. Ross travels to Bettystown Beach and creates a large sand sculpture.
