Palermo, 1897. At the inauguration of the exhibition of new technologies, an unstoppable fire causes many victims and forever upsets the destinies of three women: Arianna, Costanza and Rosalia. A costume drama, which still represents current issues. The protagonists fight for their own salvation from a destiny that seems already sealed, stubbornly striving for their own emancipation and achievement of happiness.
