Virta is a crime series, a Finnish answer to shows like Beck and Wallander.Criminal Commissar Lasse Virta (Antti Virmavirta) is a classic character: charismatic, intelligent and adventurous. He is a lone wolf, a workaholic, whose outside goals are mostly past.While Virta focuses solely on solving crimes, Kari Salminen (Petteri Summanen), his partner, has a busy private life to contend with. Salminen is impulsive, and he is used to challenging his co-worker.
