A woman who was found dead and badly burned in Bergen 46 years ago is still one of Norway's biggest criminal mysteries. Despite great efforts, the police never found out who she was, or why she died in the deserted Ice Valley. Many have tried to solve the case, but no one has moved on - so far. Now NRK has found new and possibly decisive clues in the case. Follow the hunt for who the mysterious Isdal woman was.

This summer, NRK found biological material from the Isdalskvinnen in a warehouse in Bergen. Now Kripos and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health have analyzed these tissue samples and made an attempt to extract a DNA profile, which may help identify the woman. Did they succeed?
