Crematorio (Crematorium) is the story of the Bertomeus, a family that has managed to amass a fortune over several generations. Ruben Bertomeu left behind the agricultural business to create a business structure that has made him the richest and most powerful man in Misent. Only within his own family is Ruben Bertomeu's understanding of progress questioned.
