As at the end of every season, the French soccer family celebrates its heroes. All hell breaks loose when Racing Paris star Fodé Thiam head-butts his coach, calling him a "dirty toubab". To manage the crisis, club president François Marens calls on the services of the Kairos Conseil agency, which includes talented communicator Sam Berger. Marie Kinsky, Sam's ex-friend and rival, instrumentalizes the event by fanning the flames of the identity divide.

To stem the escalation of the Fodé affair, Racing and the Kairos agency have to react, especially in the face of the decolonial collective "La Boucle" represented by the magnetic Kenza Chelbi.
