Candide

In this loose adaptation of Voltaire's classic, Candide tries to win the heart of his beloved Cunegonde in various contemporary settings. In the 13-episode series, he finds himself in difficult situations and must face the cruelty of the world. However, following the instructions of Master Pangloss, he always tries to remain optimistic as he travels around the world, from a Californian start-up company to North Optimistan and into space.
