Beschreibung
Sakon ist der 16-jährige Enkel von Saemon Tachibana, einem berühmten Puppenspieler des Bunraku. Er selbst ist eher schüchtern, unsicher und still, doch seine Puppe Ukon, die er durch seine Bauchrednerkunst Leben einhaucht, hat eine völlig andere Persönlichkeit. Fast wirkt es so, als hätte Ukon seinen eigenen Geist. Aufgeweckt, offen, selbstsicher spricht Ukon aus, was er denkt und ist manchmal auch recht vorlaut. Dieses seltsame Paar löst auf ihren Reisen zahlreiche Rätsel und Verbrechen, die ihren Weg kreuzen.
