Es ist eines der kultigsten Häuser der US-Fernsehgeschichte: Das Haus des Brady-Clans. Doch im Inneren sieht das Haus ganz anders aus als in der Fernsehserie „The Brady Bunch“ (in Deutschland als „Drei Mädchen und drei Jungen“ im ZDF gelaufen) – sie wurde vor einer Studiokulisse aufgezeichnet. Dies soll sich nun ändern. 2018 hat der US-Sender HGTV das echte Brady-Haus mit der ikonischen Außenfassade in Los Angeles für 3,5 Millionen US-Dollar gekauft, um es komplett zu transformieren. Die geballte HGTV-Kompetenz soll dafür sorgen, dass die Inneneinrichtung exakt so aussieht wie in der Sitcom. Auf tatkräftige Unterstützung können die Haus-Experten von den Schauspielern der Serie setzen: Die sechs Brady-Geschwister Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) und Susan Olsen (Cindy) sind bei der Renovierung mit an Bord.
