Beschreibung
Kyoto im 19. Jh. Nach der Öffnung des lange abgeschotteten Landes prallen Tradition und Moderne aufeinander. Ryonosuke, der in China aufgewachsen ist, kommt mit seinem Yokai-Kumpel Nekomaru in die Kaiserstadt und trifft dort auf die Mobile Shinsengumi, deren Aufgabe es ist, für Ordnung zu sorgen. Sie haben viel zu tun, denn auch die Geister sind von den unruhigen Zeiten verstört.
