El Hospital Chelsea General es el hogar de algunos de los mejores cirujanos del mundo, gracias, en gran parte, a las reuniones matutinas de los lunes para comentar los errores de la semana anterior. En estos encuentros legendarios, el duro jefe Harding Hooten lleva, a puerta cerrada, la revisión de las complicaciones encontradas y los errores cometidos en el curso de la atención al paciente. A medida que la serie se abre, el responsable de trauma Jorge Villanueva trata lo que parece ser un intento de suicidio en coche sólo para descubrir que la víctima del accidente sufrió un aneurisma cerebral potencialmente mortal. El renombrado neurocirujano Dr. Ty Wilson atiende el caso del pequeño Quinn McDaniels de 11 años, cuya lesión de fútbol revela un problema mucho más grave. El Dr. Sydney Napur resuelve un caso que tenía al resto del personal del hospital perplejo. When a top competitive swimmer suffers a seizure in the emergency room, Villanueva follows his gut – leading to a surprising diagnosis. Tina must perform a risky transvenous thrombolysis with Ty and Michelle's help. And Sydney implies that Lieberman might be a crummy doctor for missing the signs of bacterial endocarditis in a former patient.
