Ignorant of all this, Kyoichiro is returning home at evening, when he stumbles upon a few soldiers recovering a soul of the dead.

Kyoichiro receives a textbook purchasing guide from Imperial University. Kyoichiro is ready to start his schooling, buthe can't help but remember Misaki, Shigure, Tatebayashi, and the others he met the day before, as well as the dead soul he saw. Realizing there's not much he can do about it, he decides to go out shopping, only to run into Senge in the street.
