Año 20XX. Los humanos llamados "Concords" y la IA de ultra alto rendimiento llamada "Codemen" se unen para competir en el juego de batalla de cartas ZENONZARD. La gente se está volviendo loca de emoción en el campeonato mundial THE ZENON. Un día, Souta Azuma, un estudiante promedio de secundaria, es desafiado a una batalla por una mujer misteriosa, Eilietta Lash. Ella revela que es una Codeman y que su intención es formar equipo con Souta y participar en THE ZENON. Souta acepta de mala gana.
