Description
Quand elle retrouve un beau matin Bernie Pryde, son associé, suicidé dans son bureau, la jeune Cordelia se retrouve seule avec la Pryde’s Detective agency sur les bras et des tas de factures impayées. Ce suicide ne suscite aucune conjecture : Bernie a très clairement indiqué dans une lettre qu’il se donnait la mort car il ne voulait pas supporter le traitement de son cancer.
