Description

Les Tortues Ninja sont 4 petites tortues qui deviennent humanoïdes, suite au contact d'une étrange substance chimique rose, le mutagen. Splinter, un maître en arts martiaux transformé en rat suite à une mutation similaire, va les accueillir dans les égouts de la ville de New-York et leur enseigner le Ninjutsu, l'art des ninjas. Ils vont ensuite faire la rencontre d'une journaliste nommé April O'Neil, qui va les aider à lutter contre la bande à Shredder, un méchant qui se cache derrière un masque de fer. C'est Splinter qui donnent leur noms au quatre tortues, d'après les noms de peintre de la renaissance. On les reconnait facilement à la couleur de leur masque et bandeaux. Chaque tortue maîtrise également une arme qui lui est propre. Donatello - Violet - Bō Léonardo - Bleu - Katana Raphaël - Rouge - Sai Michelangelo - Orange - Nunchaku

Meanwhile, Dregg's second-in-command, HiTech, is blasted into space, to be replaced by Dregg's top scientist, Mung, as his new second-in-command.

After re-energizing the present-day Turtles, the Turtles of the past have only 3 hours to get back to their time, or they will all cease to exist. Meanwhile, during the 15 hours it took to re-energize the Turtles, the remainder of Dregg's invasion fleet has been completed and has been unleashed on the city and now the Turtles and Carter have to stop Dregg, Krang, and Shredder.

A slimy amoeba-like mobster from Dimension X, known as the GlobFather, steals the Protein Computer. The GlobFather is working for Dregg and Dregg plans to use the Protein Computer to hack into all of Earth's telecommunications systems and military computers, to control them via his own brain.
