When law enforcement agencies encounter the activities of an underground octopus syndicate, the idea arises of introducing two agents into its ranks. Each of them has its own mission. They disappear to the outside world: they change names, erase their biographies, renounce the people they valued. Agents do not know about the existence of each other, communication with the Center and the outside world is carried out through the Curator.
