Nel tardo periodo Edo, il Giappone aveva vissuto una crisi senza precedenti a causa delle Kurofune (Navi Nere), le navi provenienti da paesi stranieri. Ma un robot gigante chiamato Onigami, che esisteva fin dall'antichità, dissipò le navi Kurofune e l'esclusione degli stranieri fu compiuta. La storia inizia in Giappone, dove la restaurazione Meiji del 1868 non avvenne. Lo slogan recita: "Posso essere l'uomo più grande del mondo, perché sono vergine!!"
