Nel mondo dello sport si è affermata una nuova competizione: il Prism Show, che combina tra loro pattinaggio su ghiaccio, ballo e canto. Le quattordicenni Aira Harune e Rizumu Amamiya sognano di parteciparvi, mentre l'idol Mion Takamine aspira direttamente al ruolo di campionessa: la Prism Queen. Mion, però, non si presenta al suo debutto nel Prism Show e sono Aira e Rizumu a sostituirla, trasformandosi, grazie alle magiche Prism Stone, in idol pattinatrici. Le tre ragazze, unite nel trio delle Prism Star, lotteranno per cercare di eseguire un'Aurora Nascente che permetta a una di loro di diventare la famosa Prism Queen.
