Nozomi Yumehara, una studentessa abituale, trova in biblioteca un libro magico chiamato Dream Collet e incontra Coco e Nuts, due creature del Regno di Palmier. Implorano Nozomi di restaurare il loro mondo, che è stato distrutto da un'organizzazione chiamata Compagnia dell'Incubo, completando il libro dei sogni e trovando i 55 Pinky per realizzare qualsiasi desiderio. Nel frattempo, gli Incubi si stanno muovendo nel mondo reale. Una volta che Nozomi accetta di aiutare, Coco e Nuts la trasformano nella magica ragazza Cure Dream e trasformano quattro compagni di scuola nella sua squadra Pretty Cure.
