After meeting a vampire, the Shilov brothers discover their superpowers. Seryoga and Lyokha learn that the city's research institute houses a portal between the worlds of humans and evil spirits, who occasionally visit. The secret organization "Border of Worlds," led by Pavel Nikitich, oversees the werewolves, witches, mermaids, and other "tourists" from the Dark World. The team includes the "brain" of the organization, Lyudmila Nikolaevna, her daughter Sveta, and the striking vampire Ilona. The Shilovs become part of an unusual team, where they not only have to monitor the "dark" ones, but also collect fragments of a powerful artifact.
