Copyright Policy

Eris is a TV show tracking and discovery platform. The show data displayed on the Service — including show names, descriptions, episode information, cast details, and images — is sourced from third-party data providers, primarily TVMaze and TheTVDB.

Eris does not claim ownership of this third-party content. All television show names, logos, images, and descriptions are the property of their respective owners (studios, networks, production companies). This content is displayed for informational and personal tracking purposes under fair use principles.

The Eris name, logo, visual design, user interface, and underlying software code are the intellectual property of Eris.

Users may upload certain content to the Service, including profile avatars and trivia pack cover images. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload it.
• Your content does not infringe the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Your content does not violate any applicable law.

Eris reserves the right to remove any user-uploaded content that infringes third-party rights or violates these policies.

If you believe that content on Eris infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice. Your notice must include:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
2. Identification of the material on Eris that you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail for us to locate it (e.g., a URL).
3. Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number).
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification including:

1. Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal.
2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
3. Your name, address, and telephone number.
4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Poland and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice.
5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed content within 10-14 business days unless the original claimant files a court action.

Eris maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers, in accordance with applicable law. Users who receive multiple valid copyright complaints may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated.
