Beschreibung
Charmant, witzig und mit viel Esprit schlägt sich Comedy-Kultstar Lucille Ball durch die Tücken des Alltags einer allein Erziehenden in den 60er-Jahren. Im Mittelpunkt steht stets die lustige Witwe Lucy, die bereits in der ersten Episode ihr großes Herz beweist: Freundin Vivian darf samt Sohn zur Untermiete bei Lucy einziehen. Da die beiden alleinerziehenden Damen völlig abgebrannt sind, muss irgendwie Geld ins Haus. Als erstes fällt Lucy ein, ihren Chef, Banker Mr.Mooney, um eine Gehaltserhöhung zu bitten. Doch der lässt sich nicht so leicht um den Finger wickeln wie gedacht.
