Brennan drives to Sean's house to confront him, but now he also has Christine in tow, desperate for answers about why he killed Ray. When they arrive at the house, Christine is witness to a conversation that reveals that Brennan, Sean and Ray were abused at school. Brennan finally opens up to Christine, telling her what happened on the night of Ray's death.

Disillusioned with his job, Joe decides to give Christine the information that she was desperately seeking, including the recording of Stephen in the interview. Carly realises that her dad will never be able to move on until he confronts Monroe, so she decides to help.
