Description

Située dans une ville anglaise idyllique, Beth Fairchild a préparé une fête d'anniversaire surprise pour son mari Tom. Avec la majeure partie du village présent car Tom est le médecin local bien-aimé, le monde de Beth est bouleversé lorsque la fête est interrompue par la police et que Tom est arrêté pour meurtre. Beth croit que son mari a été accusé à tort, mais elle fait bientôt des découvertes choquantes qui mettent en doute son innocence, et elle confie ses inquiétudes à Adam, le meilleur ami de Tom depuis l'enfance.
