Meet the Wife is a BBC sitcom that follows the trials and comforts of mid-life marriage after the kids have flown the nest.Freddie is a down-to-earth chap who likes to take things easy, whereas his wife, Thora, has ambitions for the couple to improve their social standing. Snobbish Thora even puts on a 'posh voice' in an attempt to impress those she was speaking to.
