Yu-Gi-Oh! é um programa sobre um garoto chamado Yugi Moto e seu alter-ego que vive em seu pingente conhecido como Quebra-cabeça do Milênio, Yami Yugi, que joga um jogo de cartas conhecido como Monstros de Duelo. No entanto, nem tudo é tão simples. O jogo Duel Monsters se origina no Egito antigo, e os monstros nas cartas são baseados em monstros reais.
