Nozomi Yumehara, uma estudante comum, encontra um livro mágico chamado Dream Collet na biblioteca e conhece Coco e Natts, duas criaturas do Reino Palmier. Eles imploram a Nozomi para restaurar seu mundo, que foi destruído por uma organização chamada Nightmares, completando o Dream Collet e encontrando os 55 Pinkies para realizar qualquer desejo. Enquanto isso, os Nightmares estão migrando para o mundo real. Assim que Nozomi concorda em ajudar, Coco e Nuts a transformam na garota mágica Cure Dream e transformam outras quatro colegas estudantes em sua equipe Pretty Cure.
