Berrenger's

A posh New York department store sets the style for a serial that opens with owner Simon Berrenger announcing merger plans over the objections of his company president -and elder son- Paul would like to escape from a loveless marriage and merge with Berrenger's top female executive. Farther down the corporate ladder, a small-town girl (Leslie Hope) starts work arranging to live with a cosmopolitan department manager (Jonelle Allen) and a store model (Laura Ashton) with an embarrassing secret.
