Olya's life goes to hell: her beloved husband Pavel dies in an accident. At the funeral, she learns that Pavel cheated on her, so that the memory of a happy marriage is destroyed. The mother-in-law, whom Olya loved like a mother, kicks her out of the house, and her husband's older brother tries to rape her ... In the midst of these events, Olya realizes that she is pregnant - a "farewell gift" from her deceased husband. She decides to leave the child, leaves for a small town and breaks all old ties. However, the past finds her. Upon learning that she has a granddaughter, Olya's mother-in-law starts a war for the baby. For the sake of her child, for the sake of new love and for herself, Olya must win this war.
