The story revolves around four couples: Anton and Kristina, Masha and Valya, Michael and Varya, and Yana. Ten years have passed since the events of the last episode of "New Dormitory." The characters have grown up and left the dormitory. They have families and jobs. As a result, they face new, more mature challenges. Michael is going through a midlife crisis. He has lost his job and is forced to stay at home and raise his two daughters. Anton has lost both Kristina and his father's fortune. He now longs to get everything back. Masha decides that it's time for her and Valya to have children. But how can she do this if Valya is against it? Yana is a single mother. After dedicating herself to work, she feels that she has missed out on raising her son. She becomes obsessed with finding a father for him. Although the characters have moved apart and no longer live in the same building, they continue to communicate, be friends, and support each other.
