Horst Paschke, a fanatical vegan, chokes to death—on a Karlswurst, of all things. Was he overcome by a craving for meat, or did someone give him a helping hand with their sausage-stained fingers?Maja delves deep into the world of meat opponents and advocates, who have been waging a petty war against each other for years. Sausage manufacturer Würzner is a suspect, but vegan luminary Ms. Berggrün isn't exactly above board either. Paul couldn't care less about the whole thing, but he does provide a crucial clue (which Maja, of course, almost destroys by accident) and, in the end, when Maja's life is threatened, seems genuinely concerned for her.

Jennifer's husband, car dealership owner Fred, strikes a deal with Paul: The newspaper will run a major story on Fred's sister's wedding, and in return, Paul gets a cleaning lady for free.But the wedding headlines turn out differently than expected because one of the groomsmen is spectacularly murdered during the rehearsal at the church. Maja has to really go all out for this story and, in the process, cuts a fine figure as a bridal fashion model. Inspired by the wedding theme, Rajesh wants his family to arrange a marriage for him, and in the newsroom, three men are getting on everyone's nerves as they try to set a world record in bagpipe playing.
